How the Cooling Pack Recycling Program Works

1. Purchase the Recycling Program
   Select the kind of cooling pack and amount you need. Add the Recycling Program to your cart and check out when you’re ready.
   
2. Get your prepaid shipping label

   After your order is processed, we’ll email you a prepaid shipping label so you can send in your old cooling packs.
   
   
3. Pack and ship your old cooling packs

   Place your old cooling packs in a sturdy box, attach the shipping label, and seal the box securely.
   
4. Drop off or schedule a pickup

   Drop the box at your local post office, leave it by your mailbox for your mail carrier, or request a free USPS pickup.
   
5. We ship your new replacement cooling packs
   After we check in your return, we ship your new ThermApparel cooling packs at your discounted recycling-program price.
   

Important notes:

• New cooling packs are shipped only after your old cooling packs arrive at our facility and are checked in for recycling.
• If we do not receive your old cooling packs within 30 days, your order will be canceled.
• Due to shipping costs, the ThermApparel Recycling Program is currently available only within the United States.

When to Recycle Your Cooling Packs

You can recycle your cooling packs anytime, but most people replace them every 3-4 years with regular use because cooling power and cooling time naturally decrease over time.
Check your cooling packs when they are fully melted (after use, before recharging). It’s a good time to recycle and replace them if you notice:

• Cloudy or discolored plastic
• Cracks, creases, or thinning areas in the plastic
• Shorter cooling time or weaker cooling than before

If you see any of these signs, your ThermApparel cooling packs are ready for the Recycling Program. Upgrade to a fresh set at a discounted price.
